A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has surpassed over one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which eu news live aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
